One important practical application of trigonometry is to find the heights of objects and the distances between them without actual measurement. Many times we are required to find the distance between two objects and to measure the height of a mountain, building, tower, width of a gulf etc.It is practically impossible but we can determine those by using trigonometric ratios. Here trigonometry helps us in finding out the heights of objects or distances between inaccessible regions.
